Profile

I have conducted and can conduct mediation in the following fields: family law (including cohabitation and marriage contracts), employment, construction (residential, commercial and industrial), debtor/creditor, real estate (including condominium issues), contracts, wills and estates, corporate (including shareholder disputes and family business disputes), commercial (including agricultural issues), harassment (including sexual orientation matters), landlord/tenant, negligence and other tort claims (including property damage).

Facilities

I conduct mediations at my office if required; there is no additional cost for my facilities which include rooms for caucuses and ample free parking.

Evening Mediations

Evening mediations can be conducted provided they are at my office.

Rates

Mandatory mediations in Ottawa are done at a preferential rate. Private mediations in eastern Ontario (other than court related mandatory mediations) are governed by my fee schedule. The private mediations are charged at the rate of $400.00 per hour, plus HST. For private mediations, I usually allow one to two hours of preparation depending on the complexity of the matter.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day preceding the event, there will be no cancellation fee. However, there may be a fee for the preparation.
