Raymond H. Gouin was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1978 and practices estate law (wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, probate of wills, and other related areas). He also practices in the field of estate litigation (will challenges and estate disputes).

I was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1978. My aim is to help my clients achieve the best possible results. I find solutions in estate law with practical and balanced advice. I also litigate, which is a beneficial complement for my clients, as my insight into the world of litigation often allows me to spare them costly experiences by avoiding involvement in court cases. My clients gain a better understanding of creative, effective, and high-value solutions because I know what litigation entails.

Issues are often resolved before they escalate into dangerous and costly situations. I understand what it takes to enhance and protect my clients’ interests, and I am dedicated to their success.

As a deputy judge of the Superior Court of Justice (Small Claims Court), I frequently encounter complex legal issues, which has led me to refine my conflict resolution skills. I also completed training in mediation techniques through the University of Windsor.

Jocelyne has worked in legal offices for several years. She also worked at an administrative level for school boards in eastern Ontario as well as in the provincial public sector, namely the Ministry of Correctional Services of Ontario. She currently overlooks the accounting and the general administration of the office.

During her free time, Jocelyne is completing examinations in piano, flute and theory of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. She enjoys reading, cooking and skiing.

Jade Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Nipissing University and has extensive experience in the financial sector since 2016, specializing in assisting clients with investments and secured mortgage loans with a major Canadian banking institution. At the law firm of Raymond H. Gouin, Jade focuses on English-language matters. She is also fluent in Arabic, bringing a unique skill set to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing by solving puzzles while listening to podcasts.
